'SIMPLE' skin care review

So I'm going to start by talking about the simple skin care range. Cleanser, Toner & Moisturiser.
The product range claims to be skind to skin, and is described as the 'moisturising range'.

Packaging:
the packaging to me is a complete turn off. It's the packaging which draws me into products when I see them on the shelf...and without sounding too ironic...the packaging is...simple!!
The moisturiser comes in a squeezy tube, the cleanser in an upright bottle, and the moisturiser also in a squeezy tube.

FRAGRANCE FREE? IS IT REALLY? I've heard that simple products are naturally healthy for the skin and therefore fragrance free, soap free, no perfume or no colour. BUT the facewash has a lemony zesty scent, the toner also smells slightly zesty and alcoholic and i think its only the moisturiser for me that doesnt smell. Now this isn't a concern for me..my main concern will be if it works!!
so here goes...
Facewash: I apply the facewash to dry skin and massage all over and rinse thoroughly. The thing i like about this, is that it foams! and actually feels like its really cleaning my skin- despite being such a 'simple' formula. I can use this product daily, and it wont break me out, or dry out my skin. It doesnt scream wow factor, but at £3 it really is going to be a staple in my beauty cuboard!
Toner: toners always disapoint me...i always seem to use way too much of the stuff and apply liberally...! It's going to take a really expensive toner to get me out of this habbit! I squeeze far too much of this liquid based product onto a cotton wool pad and wipe all over my face. After cleansing i presume my face is makeup free- but this toner prooves otherwise! 2-3 dirty cotton wool pads later, my skin is feeling refreshed and clean- but a little bit dry despite being a moisturising range.
Moisturiser: A thick, white consistancy- pea sized amount smoothed all over my skin. Doesnt irritate my skin, and doesnt look greasy! Leaves my skin feeling soft and absorbed quickly so ready straight away to put on my makeup! This moisturiser hasnt broken me out, and i use it twice a day!! Not 'deeply' moisturising, but does the trick before makeup. I have oily skin and this works brilliantly for me. For dry skin sufferers I suggest maybe something richer- probably not from the simple range!

Let me know about your skincare routines. What do you think of the simple range?
